Jenna Canfield
We are excited to welcome Jenna Canfield back to Sonoma County- and thrilled she can join our teaching team in Fall 2026! Jenna first discovered Music Together while working as a nanny for three energetic little boys during college, and she immediately fell in love with the magic of making music alongside children. Years later, as a parent herself, she experienced firsthand how meaningful music classes could be for emotional connection, social development, and creating lifelong memories.
Over the course of 10 years, Jenna brought all five of her children to Music Together classes, where she built lasting friendships, rediscovered her own love of singing, and watched music become a powerful part of her family life. As both a parent and teacher, she has seen how important it is for families to have a warm, welcoming space where caregivers and children alike can feel supported, understood, and connected. Also, as a young parent of a child with special needs, she saw how deeply music could affect children emotionally, and how important it was to play and sing even with the most physically disabled among us.
Jenna is an educator with a MA in teaching, and she also holds a BA in Psychology and 35+ years’ experience. She is also a family advocate, certified positive parenting coach, and early intervention specialist! Learn more about her positive parenting services on her website: Dragonfly Parenting.
Jenna is passionate about bringing together two of her greatest loves: music and supporting families with young children. She believes deeply that when we gather in community to sing, play, move, and connect with our kids, we help nurture a more compassionate and joyful next generation.
Jenna taught Music Together in Sonoma County for a total of three years, and then became Director of Music Together Waimea, in Hawaii, for 1.5 years. For Jenna, Music Together is about so much more than music - it's about connection, joy, expression, and creating meaningful memories that last a lifetime.
