Uncle Gerry Concert!

Gerry Dignan, "Uncle Gerry" from our Music Together CDs (..."Hello, I'm Uncle Gerry") is returning to perform a Benefit Concert* in Santa Rosa! This will be his fourth appearance in our community. Come meet the man who has been singing to you and your children for years! Or, if you haven't taken a Music Together class, just bring your kids for a concert treat. Gerry and his wonderful wife "Aunt" Denise will lead us in song and movement!

*About our fund-raiser: Here in Sonoma County, we know all too well the impacts of wildfire loss. Last October, the United Way and Redwood Credit Union cooperated to create a Disaster Relief Fund for our Sonoma County fire survivors. Now, a similar fund has been set up in Shasta County to aid the families who have suffered loss due to the Carr Fire.

The United Way of Northern California and Tri Counties Bank have established the Shasta County Fire Relief Fund, and 100% of funds raised will benefit victims of the Carr Fire.

All proceeds from our Uncle Gerry concert will be donated to this fund in the name of "Santa Rosa Area Music Together Families."

There are so many fires right now, it's hard to choose where to put our help. We at SRAMT are choosing the Carr Fire because there was a high loss of personal property, and the fire went through neighborhoods, making it similar to the Tubbs Fire here.

Last October, many of our Music Together families lost their

homes, as well as Ginger, our Director, and Dena, our

Administrative Assistant. We'd like to help the people of Redding now.

The love we'll share at this concert will be thicker than any smoke!
