How do outdoor classes work?*

  • A maximum of 11 families per class will bring their own blankets and instruments/props each week (more on that below) to have a 45-minute Music Together class!

  • The blankets will be 8 feet apart, to sing safely without masks. The teacher will mark the circle so everyone knows where to put their blankets down. We expect that adults will actively make sure they and their children maintain proper safe distance when off the family blanket.

  • Families will bring their own instruments to class:

  • You could instead bring whatever you have at home, or in addition to the above. We have many suggestions of home items that can be substituted for "real" instruments, or you can make your own.

  • The Family Kit is intended to be for one adult and one child, since it's very important for adults to have instruments/props as well as the  children. If you have two children, it's possible to purchase an additional half-set (one of each item).

  • What to bring: Besides instruments/props and a blanket, we recommend bringing a portable potty, sunscreen, a sun hat, sunglasses, drinking water, and possibly even a sunshade (ex: umbrella, etc) since we may not always have shade on every part of the music circle.

*Complete information on how classes will work is in the policies and procedures document below.

Instruments:

For enrolled families only, a family kit is available for purchase for $18 at THIS LINK (or click the picture). It is for one adult and one child. You can also purchase a half-kit for an additional child.
